Log and Plan Workouts With The Training Calendar

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Athlo has reached a major milestone in the site’s feature development. The training calendar is now live and the link can be found in your main title bar after logging in. Simply click on “training” and you will be able to view your calendar. It will become the foundation for training at Athlo and keeping you on the path to achieving your goals.

The calendar is simple, yet highly functional and easy to use. The drag and drop feature makes creating new workouts, saving workouts and creating your own training plan fast and easy. Give us your feedback and let us know what you think.

We have also added an RSS feed to make it easier for you to keep up with the latest developments and announcements on Athlo. Subscribe to ensure that you’re immediately notified of new features as we roll them out.

Athlo has many more great things coming up. The training calendar will tie together many of the features we have planned over the next few weeks so check back often to see what’s available.

On-Site Feedback and Terms of Use

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

Development of Athlo.com is progressing nicely. We have added two small, but very important sections to the site, feedback and the Terms of Use.

You can now provide feedback from the foot of every page. This tool allows you to report bugs, suggest features, and provide general feedback regarding the site. This is your way of connecting directly with the Athlo staff and having a say in how this site is developed. Use the same page to check the status of your input and provide additional comments if you have them.

The Terms of Use are also located at the foot of every page. This is our legal statement about use of this site, copyrights, liabilities and other important information. It won’t motivate you to go out and do something active, so we recommend reading the Terms of Use on your iPhone or Blackberry while riding the stationary bike.

We are excited to announce that the next feature scheduled to launch is the training calendar. We’ll save the details for when it’s live. Check back frequently!

Athlo.com is Live

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

Welcome to Athlo.com. We’re excited to finally be “turning on” our site to the public after months of hard work developing custom training algorithms, social networking abilities, and motivational tools like performance analysis and goal setting. Over the next several weeks we will update Athlo with a variety of enhancements and core features. We think a weekly roll out will allow us to focus on individual portions of the site as they “go live” and enable us to adequately support them should issues arise.

Along the way we think you can help us out tremendously by providing us constructive feedback. Please be candid with what works, what’s confusing, and what’s broken. We are still in the very early development stages of this project, which means that we’re flexible to meet your exact needs. Don’t hesitate to let us know what’s on your mind.

We’ll post announcements on progress right here, so check back frequently to find out what’s new on the site.
